Stewardship MomentJune 2011In the interest of moving Advent Lutheran Church in the direction of a "year-around" approach to stewardship, this is the fourth installment in a series of monthly vignettes intended to aid in understanding what stewardship really means to us as Christians. The answers may surprise some of you. God gives us many potential talents when we are born. These talents, whether they be musical, intellectual, physical, spiritual or reflect some other special ability (and there are many), are gifts which are to be shared with others. This, in turn, allows each of us to participate in God’s plan in our own unique way. The Bible informs us that wisely used talents will continue to improve and also bring out hidden talents in others. Talents that are unwisely used, or not used at all, will be removed by God. In Christ, Your Stewardship Team If you have any questions about Stewardship at Advent or are interested in giving of your time and talents, please contact Tim at LTCTKRUE@aol.com "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
